Is it possible to add experimental Gemini models in composer?

I’ve heard gemini-exp-1206 is great for coding. However, whenever I try to add it in the Cursor settings, it tells me that “The model gemini-exp-1206 does not work with your current plan or api key”.

Is there a way to get this working?

Hey, Composer doesn’t work with your API keys, however, you can use it in the chat.

Weirdly, it seemed to work this morning in Composer? It did a terrible job of creating the diff, so I switched back to Claude

Hey, we’ve added the experimental model gemini-exp-1206. You can use it in Composer, but not in agent mode.

Any plans to add this model to agent mode? Are there any technical limitations with gemini-exp-1206 that wouldn’t work with agent mode?
