I have cursor on the host MacOS and also inside Parallels on Windows.
But like right now Windows is on v50, but macOS is still 0.49 and I can’t seem to get to 50 on the host. Download from cursor.com is just 0.49 still.

Was also just about to suggest that and perhaps, did you setup EAP (beta) on Windows?
I don’t necessarily want bleeding edge insiders early access… or is that just like “this is the new release, get it before general rollout”?
Early Access (EAP, beta) is not nightly (alpha). While some may not have issues with the EAP versions it is not a stable general availabilty release.
Ok so there’s no like —force update command then or anything? Im just unsure why my account lets 1 platform be at 0.50 while the other (which released earlier) is stuck at 49.
Both have update frequency set to Standard
You need to enable early access and run this command. The reason you received the update on Windows is that this update is rolling and is distributed randomly to users.
Thank you, that properly forced it, moved back to std.
I figured it was a staged rollout, but I was HOPING it would be per user not like per device or whatever you know?
I think that’s the case. At the moment the update was selected for you, you were most likely on Windows, which is why you received it there. Unfortunately, the system doesn’t know that you have two devices and has already marked the update as received.
