Issue with Agent Not Reading Attached Images

Hi Cursor Team,

I’m experiencing an issue where the agent cannot read attached images. I’m using Claude, Sonnet 3.7.

As shown in the attached video, the agent does not process the image correctly. Could you please look into this?

Let me know if you need any further details.

Thanks,

I have the same error too. When I switch to GPT models, the feature works again but stops when I go back to Claude 3.7 sonnet thinking. Why’s this happening? And this happened all of a sudden, when it just stopped reading screenshots. Restarting the app/pc doesn’t seem to fix this either.

Hi,

It seems to be a bug where the system attaches the wrong image path to the prompt. Unfortunately, I haven’t received a response to my request for clarification yet.

Hopefully, they address this soon. I’ll update you if I get any further information.

Thanks! I tried an alternate method as well by putting up the image directly in a separate folder on my codebase. Even though the model was able to identify and locate the file, it wasn’t able to read it. So I’m not sure if it’s merely an issue w the wrong image path to the prompt. But thanks for your response, I look forward to seeing how they resolve this

I also have the same problem. Is there a workaround?
