I normally only work with the inline cursor completion and never use the chat window. I usually keep the chat panel hidden, but with the latest cursor version (2.0.75) it seems that hiding the chat panel is no longer possible.

Can you please bring back an option to hide the chat panel?

I believe this setting in the “Cursor Settings“ → “Preferences“ → “Default Layout“ should solve the issue:
