Hey, actually if you only need the Tab function, you can install SuperMaven, as it’s part of Cursor.

thanks for the info, i am using it since 2-3 months , but quality is not even near cursor tab and makes mistakes in most required places (i need autocomplete specifically for filling up keys and making data to objects mapping which manually takes lot of grunt copy paste work). that’s the reason i am requesting for just cursor tab plan. None of the market available solutions are near good as cursor tab.

I never find myself using the cursor ide chat, however, I find the autocompletes useful. It seems an overkill to pay 20 for just this feature, could you please add this in your pricing model?

Good idea.

$8 tab
$20 pro
$100 max (5x)
$200 ultra (20x)

Just found out there is
$60 Pro+ (3x)

Not clear, if Opus/MAX is included. Not on the pricing page ^^

I almost never use the agentic / chat stuff and am paying for Cursor exclusively for its Tab autocomplete feature.

It would be great if we could have a separate cheaper plan that does not include any fast requests at all but costs less. Maybe with an ability to turn on usage-based pricing if we still need these 5-10 fast requests per month…

I was using Supermaven for a long time (paid plan ofc) before it was acquired by Cursor and am thinking to go back to it even if Tab is much better, just because Cursor is too pricey compared to $10 / mo Supermaven.

I hope you’ll listen

Agree, need such a plan

i guess we are at deadend , as there is lot of issues going on with pro plan pricing in forum , so tab will be kind of last priority.

How about using Gemini Code Assist? You can use up to autocomplete 180,000 times monthly for google individual account with 0 cost.

Will give it a shot and let you guys know, as far i remember i have used it before, i don’t know if this was the extension or not but that extebsion was asking gcp auth

Google individual account is free. If the google account is for workspace or enterprise or for education or something, you would be asked google cloud platform to authenticate. I thought already wrote this thing explicity in first reply.

Yep, honestly I just need unlimited tabs too. If I ever need the chat feature temporarily, I could just pay the difference for the remaining days. Doing it that way would definitely make Cursor click with more people – I bet it’d win folks over.

Yup, agreed

A 10$/month Tab only plan would be great IMO. I admit that I really don’t like Curosr agent compared to competitior’s but the Tab is just too good.. Supermaven is not a solution, it hasn’t been updated and is nowhere near as performant

Hi, In “my” opinion the biggest selling feature in cursor currently is it’s “TAB autocomplete” feature,
I’m not big fan of agent mode, I have a specific cursor rule just to force models to answer in the chat and avoid toching my files directly.

Can you make it “free” or at least bill it separately (a vscode extension would be amazing), I barely use 2.00 USD of my pro plan monthly and I pay 20 dollar!

I’m cancelling my subscription next month and this is the only feature I’m going to miss.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. There are no such plans at the moment, but they might appear in the future. However, you can try using SuperMaven, as it’s part of Cursor.
