Hey, thanks for the report.
I see HTTP/2 is already disabled. Let’s try a few other fixes:
Quick checks:
- Disable MCP servers if they’re enabled: Settings → Cursor → MCP. This helped another user with a similar issue - Repeatedly says connection issue when my connection is fine - #4 by STF
- Launch Cursor without extensions: run
cursor --disable-extensionsin your terminal and try a new chat - Check your firewall/antivirus - it might be blocking Cursor’s connections
Diagnostics needed:
Please share:
- Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics - a screenshot of the result
- Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console - copy any errors
- Are you using a firewall/antivirus or a corporate proxy?
- Do you have any MCP servers set in Settings → Cursor → MCP?
