Last Update is aweful

Describe the Bug

Hi,
What’s going on with the last update ? Cursor is getting stuck in endless loops, get completely lost in contexts, hallucinate and forget what it has just been done.
Quality has deteriored in the single month I’ve been using it.
I’m sure you’ll get back on the right track.

Steps to Reproduce

Regular usage in Agent Auto

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version 1.3.2
VS version 1.99.3

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, this version is still pre-release. We did accidentally roll this version out to a few users who did not opt in for it, so I’d recommend switching back to v1.2 as our last stable release for now:

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Just saw this. I’ll delete my previous post. Thanks for this!

I just did, but I’m a bit confused it’s still really bad. It gets lost all the time, that didn’t happen before

Yea even after rollback it gots down to 1.2.4 and its well… Garbage and totaly NOT stable 1.2.3 stable ish, 1.3.1 stable ish 1.2.4 useless 1.2.2 by far the most stable… BUT we canot download 1.2.2

Not solved, not version-specific. Intentional lies are intentional false advertising.

Awaiting announcement of customerbase refunds for the month of July considering these problems and the UI lying about the monthly token usage limit, leading to multiple times the intended expenditure of customers.

I have 1.2.4 as well. Certainly diminished quality. I am hoping for a little more stability as we use this product for business

@zscore we released a bugfix for a model issue that caused the loops.

If you still see issues could you please post a Request ID with privacy disabled so we can look into the details? Cursor – Getting a Request ID

Hi, how do I get this bugfix ? The endless loop wasn’t the only issue (C.f. my initial post). Does that sounds familiar ? I see many complaints by other users, not beta version related.
See here The last update is causing the agent to loop over the same step multiple times - #28 by tioagst

The loop fix was done on the system backend, not within Cursor app, so it should be fixed for all users.

If you still see the issue with Auto model, please post the Request ID as described above with privacy disabled. That would really help analyze what is happening as without it we can not see the request details.

Yes there were several duplicate posts, we are aware of those and tracking them as well. The last update should have fixed it for most users but if we see new reports - with details - we will look into it further.
