Linear integration - cannot switch accounts

I want to change the user my Cursor integration from Linear is using. The old user no longer has a subscription, but the new one has.

I have revoked access for the Cursor integration in Linear. I have removed the Linear integration from the old account. I have then enabled the Linear integration in the Cursor account for the new user.

However, I am getting this error message when I try to use Cursor in Linear. How to fix this? What have I missed?

Hey Alexandru,

Thanks for the screenshot. I checked the request ID, Linear is still routing Cloud Agent requests to your previous Cursor account, not your current one. Since the old account doesn’t have an active subscription, you’re seeing “Upgrade to run Cloud Agents” even though your current account does.

Reconnecting the workspace integration doesn’t update the per-user Linear→Cursor link. To fix it:

  1. Log into cursor.com with your current account

  2. Visit https://cursor.com/linear and complete the re-link flow

  3. Try delegating from Linear again

If cursor.com/linear loops or doesn’t complete, let me know and we’ll dig in.
