Describe the Bug
When user is selecting any of the thinking models (GPT-5.3 Codex, GPT-5.4, Opus 4.5/4.6, and Sonnet 4.5/4.6 MAX Mode is getting selected by default automatically.
Which is expensive in tokens utilisation and not able to toggle off.
Steps to Reproduce
Select any of the thinking models mentioned above in the agent chat window.
Expected Behavior
MAX Mode should be an OPTION not mandatory.
