Migrating Extensions from Windows to Cursor.AI not working

Hello, I recently switched from Ubuntu to Windows.

On Ubuntu, my cursor.AI worked wonderfully and I was very satisfied with it.

But once reinstalled on Windows, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to install my Windows extensions.

When I click on “Import”, it does display a success message “VS CODE Import completed!” but nothing changes (see the screenshots). What’s the problem here?

Hi @YannisHaismann

How are you trying to import extensions if you were using Ubuntu before? Now you’re on Windows, so what are you importing the settings and extensions from?

Try copying the extensions folder from .vscode to .cursor. You should find your VS Code extensions in this path: %USERPROFILE%.vscode.
