My cursor model doesn’t show models like 4.6—only “auto” and “compxxx” are visible. There’s no sign of it under “model” either. I’m certain I’ve connected to an international networ

Hey, this is a regional restriction. Anthropic and OpenAI don’t serve some regions, so those models require your own API key. What should work without an API key: Grok Code Kimi K2 Composer 1 DeepSeek v3.1 DeepSeek R1 If you need Claude or GPT, it’s BYOK only (your own API key), but the provider may still block requests from your region.
