Hello. I’ve recently created a new account based on my edu email. I’ve successfully went through the registration process, as well as verifying the student status. What went wrong is that the dashboard looked bugged right after i logged in for the first time:
Then, I got logged out, and I could not log back in:
- I’ve went through login screen
- Then I got into blank website that showed I need to log in
- Then I got instantly redirected into login page again.
I’ve contacted a cursor helpdesk via email. Unfortunately they could not help me with the issue. We have went through these steps:
- Delete the cache and cookies
- Try on incognito
- Try on different device
- Try on totally different environment (device, host and internet provider)
So, with the help of my friend, she gave me her student email. I’ve went through all of the registration steps (without student verification) and she got the same problem. She cannot log into website.
Both of the accounts were created using email (not any Google or GitHub provider)
We did not login into Cursor IDE, since the problem occurs on website only.
