The current version of Cursor does not support the Python compiler/parlance extension version earlier than 2024.4.1.
Do you have any suggestions or updates that can adapt the Python compiler to older versions that support Python 3.6?

I have the same issue. Any help will be appreciated! I used Pylance v2023.5.30 with VSCode but not able to install that on Cursor.
Glad to know I am not the only one who had this issue 
. I got a project that uses really old compiler and pylance version v2021.1.502429796. I hope this can be resolved soon.
