This is entirely anecdotal and may be placebo, but the most recent versions of Cursor feel much more responsive than those I remember a few months ago. Thank you for keeping performance in mind and improving it!!

Thank you for the feedback. Yes we added a lot of improvements including performance related to the 1.7 release.

Also wanna say the same re: UI. I sent some feedback in a month or two ago (to support bot/”sam”) that said Cursor feels like a fork. Too many inconsistencies in UI and such.
However the latest nightly has yet another set of improvements. New icons look great, the recent changes to the chat window are great, everything is starting to tie together very nicely now. Genuine props & thank you for working on these things and listening to feedback
