You’re right: this is a known issue we’re actively working on. This week we’ve seen several reports that Plan mode doesn’t fully complete builds, todo lists don’t sync, and there are difficulties resuming partially completed plans.
Temporary workaround: some users have had success keeping tasks in separate markdown files outside Cursor’s internal system:
