PlatformIO IDE issue

Describe the Bug

OK Since these really unnecessary updates being pushed to users (need a rollback) or some sort confirm before we update…
Anyway after the update, PlatformIO seem to keep restarting as if you are loading Cursor for the first time, when you click upload and monitor, then it will keep restarting randomly…so we see the PIO Home screen load and the .ini file over and over again.

I tried to roll back to an earlier version, but for some reason the rollback doesn’t completely overwrite the updated version as this behaviour still persists!! And yes I uninstalled PIO and re-installed (good luck find it in the marketplace)…

what are we doing about this?? The version I was working on before the barrage of updates in the last few days everything was working fine. I echo the sentiments in this forum with regard to updating cursor, you guys need to stop pushing updates and let the user decide whether to update or not!!!

Steps to Reproduce

As far as I can tell this is happening when I go to upload and monitor the code to the board is when I see the platform reload happen
