Please provide the changelog

This is a recurrent issue: something changes, disappears and you don’t know where it goes.

Today, I opened Cursor and I couldn’t see Usage summary section. I thought, “Where the did it go?” I finally figured there is a new option and is set to Auto.

This wouldn’t happen if you had proper changelogs and I could read them and see, okay, now there is an option to hide or not the usage bar.

this should be shown first time starting a new version with a “dont show again” option

Yes, but unless I’m missing something, this is only displaying the main changes on the major versions, not minor changes like the one I’m mentioning.

don’t get me wrong, just bad choice of words on my side:
I was advocating for this to be implemented as I also feel this should be shown to the user.

We do post minor changelogs in notes on cursor.com/changelog, but I understand the desire to have more info on each release / change, so you didn’t have to go searching for the setting!

I’ll feed this back to the team :folded_hands:

just to make sure to avoid any misunderstandings:
the feedback was focussing on having changelogs for minor version updates (1.4.3 –> 1.4.4, instead 1.3 to 1.4)

Hello, I marked this as solved, but indeed what I mean is the minor version updates, because you are doing a lot, and with fine changes that sometimes affect a lot of users, so like the usage pop-up being disabled by default.
