Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I do not know if it is because I had a few days without a subscription or because of a new update. This is quite problematic as the conversation was good context besides the markdowns I left.

Does anybody have this issue?

No steps required.

Expected Behavior

Previous chats to exist.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, unfortunately, this can happen on rare occasions, especially during an update or if the storage on your system is full.

If it remains unavailable after a restart, you may be able to recover your conversation with a third party tool, like SpecStory - while not vetted or official, many users report success here.

We would always recommend you keep any information you want to refer to in the future outside of chat messages, as they are not built or intended to be stores of information!
