I keep getting this. I stated using my Macbook so i thought it was macbook issue, reinstalled and etc. Updated to newest verison before i started.

These recent changes have completely broken it, now it just shreds tokens and fails to edit anything.

Looks like Claude 3.7 is trying to output more tokens than it can handle right now!
Will flag to the team, donât think this is expected.
For now, maybe try to start a new Chat, as it could be that there is too much input context here!

Yes, mine is just stuck at âGeneratingâŚâ. It worked fine until I installed 0.47.8 just an hour ago.

Mine would just stop generating after two lines of text. I canât seem to get it past a few sentences.

Same boat for me. Deleting an image in previous chat fixed it.
0.47.8 version agent mode: I aksed it to create constants.py and add some vars into it. It said ,i will now create constants.py and then nothing happened. I started new chat, asked him to do a similar task and it failed again. I tried one more time, it failed again. Basically it was not even âgeneratinâŚâ. It just said: I will now create contstant.py" and that was it (3 fast request gone just like this). The only option i had was to upvote/downvote etc.
I had to use âaskâ mode and that one worked. But you guys need to fix this please. Itâs buggy

it just generates for a while and fails
it seem to edit file with less lines fine but larger files are having issue (arround 800 lines)
tested it like 20+ times
Mine was less than 300 lines, so not sure. Let me try to initiate a new chat and see.

Just to be clear. I have not gotten a single generated response-row out, since I installed 0.47.8 yesterday. I have tested many different models, restarting Cursor, rebooting computer, creating new Chats, testing shorter questions⌠nothing.

Waited for request to time-out. Then clicked on âtry-againâ. It will generate. Takes time but u will get answer.
Rest all doesnât work (including opening new chat, new project etc.).
