Questions Regarding Refund and Yearly Subscription

Hey I just subscribed to Cursor Pro and got a bit confused.

I did the yearly plan instead of the monthly plan first since I loved the product but then I started contemplating how I would potentially run out of requests in certain months so I clicked on the add 500 more requests to see what options there are and for the yearly subscription, there was only an option 2x the yearly subscription instead of just $20?

That is what made me switch to monthly. I changed through the UI to monthly. I want to make sure I am getting a refund instead of credits to my monthly plan since it didnā€™t charge 20$ when I switched to monthly.

Questions

- When should I expect a refund?

- Does the yearly subscription lock you into 2x yearly instead just another $20 when upgrading to more requests.

- Is that not an option for the yearly plan? I donā€™t want to 2x my yearly plan. I just want it in specific months where I am busy.

Also, an extra confirmation button on the add 500 more requests would be nice.

I also emailed you.

Thank you!

Based on What does $576.00 per year mean? - #2 by truell20 it looks like it locks you 2x. So you would get 1000 requests every month. If you still need a refund, let me know and I will process it.

Yes please, if the yearly plan locks you that way, I would like a refund and will be a monthly member instead because that will allow me to increase my requests without being billed hundreds haha. It would be nice if adding premium requests was separate. Is that something planned potentially or is there some kinda of business model im missing here .

I searched the forum. I missed that one. I am surprised other people didnā€™t mention it before.

Making our pricing model as flexible as possible for folks while keeping it reasonably sustainable for us is always something we strive for. However, the more flexible you make it the more complexity you add to it. We are definitely tracking related feedback though.
