Reasoning Steps in Advanced Settings not saving

I have to manually enable reasoning steps each time I start a new chat. But, the advanced settings button does not appear until an initial generation of text.

So I’m basically having to do 2x my gpt-4 requests to do reasoning steps each time.

Can’t we always expose the advanced settings, and save our preference for always using reasoning steps?
