Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known connection issue. Please try the following:

  1. Disable HTTP/2 (most common fix):

    • Open Cursor Settings with CMD/CTRL+,

    • Search for “HTTP/2”

    • Enable “Disable HTTP/2”

    • Restart Cursor

  2. Run network diagnostics:

    • Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics

    • Share the results if the issue persists

This helps most users on networks with partial HTTP/2 support. Reference: Constant connection error

Thanks @jokerfool for the suggestion. Please try that.

Since you’re on version 2.2.43, check if Cursor 2.3 is available (Help > Check for Updates) - it includes stability fixes for connection issues, though it may take few days to roll out to all users.

If the update isn’t available yet or disconnections persist after upgrading, please share screenshots from Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics
