Ro Subscription Not Reflecting on Windows App (Web is fine)

Hi,

I’m having an issue where my Pro subscription isn’t being recognized in the Windows desktop agent. It shows up correctly as “Pro” when I log into the web version, but the agent still says I’m on the “Free” plan.

I’ve made sure I’m using the exact same account for both. I’ve already tried logging out and back in, and I even rebooted my PC, but the issue persists. Could you look into this for me?

Hey, this looks like a known issue where the desktop app doesn’t pick up your current subscription status.

Since logging out and restarting didn’t help, please try this:

  1. Open Cursor Settings (not VS Code settings) from the gear icon in the top right, then click Sign Out. After that, sign in again.
  2. If that doesn’t help, fully close Cursor and clear the cache:
    • Path: %APPDATA%\Cursor
    • Delete the Cache and CachedData folders
    • Reopen Cursor and sign in again
