Describe the Bug
In the chat, when I’m editing a previous chat request, I can click and drag to select and edit text. But if the text is longer than the box, I have to scroll. Typically, I select long blocks of text by placing the cursor at the beginning of the text I want, then scrolling to the end of the text, and shift+clicking at the end. This is especially useful when using a trackpad.
THIS DOES NOT WORK! The scrolling jumps around and does weird stuff, but no text is selected.
It’s like using the computer with one hand cut off.
Steps to Reproduce
- Submit a long request in chat.
- Stop the agent.
- Activate edit mode by clicking in the previously-submitted chat item (now at the top of the chat area).
- Try to select text: place the cursor at the beginning of an arbitrary selection, then scroll down, then try to select text by shift+clicking at the end of your selection.
- No text is selected.
Expected Behavior
Text should be selected.
