Describe the Bug

Within the cursor chat window, if I click on a previously sent chat message in order to edit it, I’m unable to highlight/select when I ‘Shift + Click’.

I’m able to click + drag to highlight text but the ‘Shift + click’ shortcut doesn’t seem to work.

In the main chat input box at the bottom, both highlighting methods works correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Send a few separate chat messages
  2. Click on a previously sent chat message to edit it
  3. Click on part of the message to place the cursor
  4. Hold ‘Shift’ and click somewhere else in the text input
  5. Observer that the text isn’t highlighted as expected

Expected Behavior

I expect the text highlighting to work in both the bottom chat input box and when editing any other previously-sent chat boxes.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

No - Cursor works, but with this issue
