Hey, do you know if this was working as expected on v0.46 before v0.46.9?
I’ve passed this to the team to look into!

Yes, it worked. I briefly used release 0.46 before 0.46.9, and I don’t recall encountering this issue.
0.46.8 and before did not have this problem, I have the same problem and I have not found a solution since yesterday. I uninstall the application and reinstall 0.46.8, but after a few minutes it updates again and does not give me the opportunity to process any code or file. It cancels all operations automatically.
Same issue on Windows. Apply doesn’t work across Chat or Agent. It was working before 0.46.9
Hi, do you have a .cursorignore file?
Does that .cursorignore match the file you’re trying to apply that’s not applying?

Here to report the same bug. Was working a few days ago - was on 0.46.6 i think? Now with update, 0.46.9 nothing seems to be able to apply.
“It seems there might be an issue with the reapply tool. Let me try editing the file again with a different approach:”
[edit] can confirm - went back to 0.46.6 and its working again

I’m experiencing similar issue on Windows. It was working until the latest updater. Since the changes don’t apply, the agent keeps retrying different methods until I stop it manually.

For me Cursor is unable to apply changes to yml files in the .github folder.
Hi, we have some 0.46.10 patch builds rolling out now:
Download Links:
macOS:
• Intel DMG
• Apple Silicon DMG
• Universal DMG
Windows:
• Windows x64 Setup
• Windows ARM64 Setup
Linux:
• Linux ARM64 AppImage
• Linux x64 AppImage
This should resolve chat/apply not working in .
prefixed folders, can you let me know if this fixes the issue for you?
Same as "No changes made" - #16 by malteristo - I do not have a dot in my folder name but I still have this issue
Can you check if the build above works for you? It has a couple other small fixes that might fix the apply issue.
Tested now. Still an issue in

Just tried asking for a change and it was unable to apply, like it has been for the last couple of days
Completely unusable in agent mode the last few days
What’s the full path to the next.config.mjs
file? Also, do you have a .cursorignore
file?
Is the file opened up as part of the current workspace, or is the file external to the current workspace?
I did have a .cursorignore file, but I removed it and tested again, to no avail.
Full path: /Users/kennethlynne/Documents/GitHub/panoptiq-monorepo/apps/studio/front-end/web/next.config.mjs
It is part of the workspace of the monorepo I’m working in
I’ve reported a couple of times with request id if that helps. Here’s another recent one: cf7a3712-d5c2-40be-8959-96c12e434c47
