Welcome. Join my thread and share your request id please.

Hi, so we’ve had a look at a few of your accounts and it does look like this wait time is expected based on how many slow request you have all used.

While slow requests are unlimited, we have to make sure we protect our capacity to ensure paying customers always have fast responsive requests.

As such, while there isn’t a hard cap on slow request, they will slow down more and more as you use them.

We are hoping to improve the in app messaging on this, so it is more clear why you are waiting so long, and also how long you will be waiting for each request.

Ok but then it’s not really “practically” unlimited if it takes minutes for a request and it stops in between on top of that; that’s more like limited for all “practical purposes”. Like youtube saying you can watch unlimited video with ads but then plastering a 5 minute video with 5 minutes of ads so it becomes unbearable … there must be a better way

Clearly, Cursor’s valuation will depend on its profitability and also the user churn / growth. For me personall, the wrapper is ofc great, but so is Windsurf, etc. and the main draw has always been for me the access to premium models for a flat fee for coding.

If it costs me 250 bucks per month to work with Sonnet at a good pace it is not worth it and then there may be other alternatives at one point.
