After the 0.44.12 update, many users have reported that the profile import feature doesn’t work properly when trying to import with extensions. Unfortunately, this issue still persists in the latest update.
Could you please let us know if there are any plans or timelines to address this?

Description
When importing a .code-profile file in Cursor (versions 0.44.12 and later), the extensions fail to install, and the import process is canceled entirely. This makes it impossible to restore the profile correctly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Export a
.code-profilefile from Cursor. - Import the profile into any Cursor version newer than 0.44.12.
- The extensions fail to install, and the import process is canceled.
Expected Behavior
- The profile should be imported successfully.
- All extensions should be installed automatically as per the exported profile.
Actual Behavior
- The import fails, preventing extensions from being installed.
- The process stops unexpectedly, leaving the profile incomplete.
