Stuck on Generating

I just started a project (1st one). Using Mac 15.3.2 (24D81). cursor -Version: 0.48.6 (Universal).
I pasted in prompt to build. After 2-3 hours it responded “Let me create a new directory for the project and initialize it with the necessary files.” then 3 hours later still generating… how do I know if it is proceeding? There is nothing in output or debug console. Thanks.

Hey, it seems it’s stuck. Try starting a new chat, that should help.

I tried still stuck. I deleted cursor to do a new install but it automatically repopulates with my previous history. how do I do a fresh install on Mac? thanks.
