When context comes close to 100%, chat summarization is triggered. From time to time this cleanup does not finish. stop and start, cursor restart, nothing helps but openeing a new chat window. Seems like it happens when it was already too late :wink:

I’m mostly using claude 4 bu I think it was happening with Auto too.

Hello,

Since yesterday each time the context is used above 90%, the message Summarizing chat content dont work and it keeps showing up the message endless.
I tried to downgrade 2 versions of Cursor but the problem remains the same.
Now using 1.6.22 but same problem with last version too.
Windows 11.

Steps to Reproduce

Get 90% of context used.

Expected Behavior

Summarize to work and keep working
