Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Starting around 10:00 AM MST on November 29, all AI requests in Cursor stopped working on my Pro Trial account. Any prompt I send (even just “test”) returns: “Unauthorized request. Your request has been blocked as our system has detected suspicious activity from your account.” This happens in Chat, Composer, and other AI features, so all AI is effectively blocked.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Cursor on my Windows 11 desktop.
- Open any project and start a new chat.
- Send a simple prompt like
testusing any model (Composer-1, GPT, etc.). - The request fails with the “Unauthorized request / suspicious activity” error every time.
Expected Behavior
AI features (Chat, Composer, inline edits) should respond normally to prompts, as they did before on the same machine and network, without blocking the account for “suspicious activity.”
