Talk me out of it or convince me to become a PRO user of Cursor again?

  1. I used it quite actively, and within a week, I would reach the 500-message limit. Sometimes the wait times for responses after that were insignificant, but other times they became simply unbearable. What is the situation with this now? What free alternatives are available?

  2. I can’t find any information anywhere about the new “long” models. What are their usage limits? And overall, what are the drawbacks—why doesn’t everyone just use the 200k models instead of the regular ones (10k context I guess?) all the time? Are they weaker than the regular ones? Usage limits? Or do they take longer to respond?
