It will be very good to be able to detach from the main window the composer and the terminal special for setups with at least a dual monitor.
Be able to work on all 3 in same time it will solve pretty much a lot of bottlenecks.
Example in my case.
I keep an extra terminal (Termius) use on a small 16” monitor where I run Aider and have cursor both windows (code + composer) into 2 monitors will unlock a lot of work.
Have the terminal from cursor itself it will be amazing.
yeah i kinda preferred the previous composer mode option where you could pin it in the bottom pannel and have composer & terminal side by side
I very much want to be able to drag chat and composer to another screen (and then maximise them).
For reference, bug report added here for not being able to drag composer to another screen:
Not a perfect solution but
1 - drag file edit tab into new window
2 - use cmd+p to open additional files as needed in that window
3 - use composer in the main window
Is a good idea but when u open composer it open only in that new page ?
It opens in the main window. So do all editing in the pane you dragged out.
