Since the release of version 0.50 of Cursor, after the rapid requests were exhausted, Claude 3.7 could no longer be used and was constantly in the “generating…” state. And then it automatically stopped! How to solve it?
Hey, can you try running the Developer: Toggle Developer Tools
command and checking the console tab for errors when this happens?
My guess is there is a technical bug causing the generation to silently fail!
It’s not like that. After I exhausted my 500 rapid requests, recently my requests have become extremely slow! The use of Claude 3.7/Gemini 2.5Pro has been constantly Requesting… It stopped automatically after a long time. but, switching to automatic mode, the request was processed very quickly.
If switching to auto model selection works that means that the other models you prefer are heavily used by fast requests and that there might not leave a lot capacity or another issue. But for that you may need to provide more details so it can be analyzed and solved.
