Seems to happen to me about 70% of requests now. I’ve called it a day because of it. Starting a new chat doesn’t fix it either.
Also getting an issue where I don’t necessarily get the error, but it “unsends” the prompt I’ve sent and just infinitely says “Summarizing chat…” even on a new chat. Very strange.
For the last hour, I’ve been stuck with the same problem. I’m on a paid plan (Pro / Pay-as-you-go), so it’s frustrating that I can’t use the service I’m paying for. I’ve had to constantly start new chats and re-enter the same data, which has made everything very confusing. I’m calling it a day.
+1, I can’t switch to another model, because this model was working well for my project. I used new pricing when I reached the rate limit, I tried to switch the model in the working chat, the AI agent became an “idiot” and polluted the chat.
Not an option for me, unfortunately. I’m neck deep in a large project that has been built with claude-4-sonnet-thinking from day 1 and I don’t want to run the risk of destructive changes, different coding patterns, etc.
