The "Tab Completions" metric in the dashboard are consistently zero

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I have been actively using Cursor’s tab completion feature recently, and the Analytics section below shows non-zero data for Tabs Accepted.

However, the “Tab Completions” metric at the top remains 0, and the heatmap is empty.

The browser developer tools console shows no errors.

Steps to Reproduce

Visit the dashboard page: https://cursor.com/dashboard

Expected Behavior

The “Tab Completions” metric and heatmap should display actual usage correctly

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a confirmed bug. The “Tab Completions” metric and heatmap on the dashboard aren’t reading the tab data correctly, even though the backend returns valid numbers. That’s why the Analytics section below shows the correct “Tabs Accepted” count.

I’ve flagged this with the team. There’s no ETA on a fix yet, but your report helps us prioritize it. We’ll update this thread when we have news.
