I just need a better understanding for this the Total spend is this added on top of the Pro plan price $20
it dosen’t say anything anywhere about there being Total spend
I know the On-demand gets added on but i don’t get this?

hey @VirtualGhost, the 20$ represent the api amount you can use on models, but on top of that, you have the auto+composer usage pool that gives a significant amount of usage!
Hey, this is a common confusion, so let me break it down.
Total spend is just an info number. It’s the retail value of everything you used in the cycle. It’s not a bill, and you don’t need to pay it. It’s often above $20 because the included allocation is usually worth more than the subscription price, so you get more value than you pay.
Included is the part of that value covered by your plan. It can also be above $20 for the same reason.
On-demand is the only thing that can actually be charged on top of the $20, and only if you enabled usage-based or on-demand spend in settings and you went over your included quota. If your history shows everything as Included or free and On-demand is $0, then you’re not being charged anything extra beyond $20.
You can check the breakdown on the billing page: https://cursor.com/dashboard/billing
There’s a similar breakdown here if you want more detail: Can someone explain the Usage tab with Total Spend and Included?
Let me know if anything’s still unclear.
