Was just creating the same. Ever since the UIs were merged its impossible to use free tier with api key. I hope this isnt a marketing move to push pro subscription…

Same issue here. Can’t use any model with my own API key. I tried both Anthropic and OpenAI models. From the bug reports on here, it feels like this happens with every release.

Same problem. Their downloads page still links to the previous version which still works.

Hey, sorry about this, we’ve just deployed a fix that should allow API keys to work in Ask mode for all users (including free tier) and also in Agent mode for Pro and Business users!
