Describe the Bug
This is less of a bug than it is a quiet cry for help - one of the steps to verify as valid for the Student plan is by having an email address given out by the university, ending with .edu - the problem is, since most of my universities’ infrastructure is running either on Moodle or legacy code, we don’t get .edu emails. What we have is @edu.lu.lv. If you want to verify that it’s a real university, search for Latvijas Universitāte. I’d love to try Cursor out, but unfortunately I can’t afford it and for the projects that I have in mind that I want to build, the two-week trial will not be enough. I’ve already reached out to Support, hoping to hear from them soon. Also, sorry if this is not the right topic category to post this in, I’m new here :).
EDIT: Forgot to mention, on Cursor’s page for the student plan, Latvia is mentioned as one of the countries where the offer IS available.
Steps to Reproduce
There is no reproduction of this bug as this isn’t a bug, but a feature - you’re filtering out all of the emails that don’t count for the Student plan, which is a very good feature. However, sometimes there’s outliers, like me :(.
Expected Behavior
Ideally, I’d press the button to verify and it would continue on to the next step without an error popping out.
