unbearing connection failed!

I really love Cursor and I’d like to purchase the Pro version after trying it out. However, my CTRL-L keeps throwing a “connection failed” error no matter what I do.（e.g, fce25695-b3c2-4d3a-a2cf-a6242616a057）

I’m using the override OpenAI URL, and my CTRL-K works just fine.
I’ve tried reinstalling, changing model names, using the Cursor model, toggling HTTP/2, enabling/disabling web search, updating and even rolling back to previous versions. I’ve even tried various APIs like Anthropic, Google, and Azure, but none worked — all returned the same error. I’m on the verge of losing it. :person_frowning:

Could anyone help fix this problem? I promise to immediately subscribe to Pro if it gets resolved. :pray:

Does the error occur when using your API key? Which model are you using that leads to the error?

Hi，yes，with my own API key, for every model (claude-3-5-sonnet-20240620, chatgpt-4o-latest, claude-3-opus-20240229, gpt-4o-2024-08-06, etc.) Any model is available with my key in CTRL-K, but all failed in CTRL-L.

Just to understand, do you override the URL address when using the OpenAI API key? If so, you shouldn’t do that; try without overriding it.

Thank you very much, I will send an email. However, I’m not using the official OpenAI key but an integrated API, so I can use both Claude and GPT at the same time.

Do you use openrouter.ai?

No, but sth like it, called smallai in China. And I’m sure their service is stable and compatible.

I’m not sure, it might be an issue with the service you’re using to access the API, maybe its requests are being blocked, but it’s hard to say. As an alternative, you can try setting it up through https://www.cursorlens.com/.
