Update prompts are super annoying when new versions drop so fast

I just installed version 3.1 because it kept prompting me to update.

About an hour later you released 3.2.

Getting told to update again so quickly is really annoying and keeps interrupting my work.

I like that you’re releasing updates fast, but the constant prompting right after I already updated feels too much. Can this be toned down a bit? Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Release frequency is really high right now, and we hear you that the prompts are getting in the way.

For now, a workaround is to change the update setting:

  1. File > Preferences > Settings or Ctrl/Cmd+,
  2. Search for Update: Mode
  3. Set it to manual updates won’t download automatically, but you can trigger them via Help > Check for Updates, or set it to none to fully disable updates

I will switch it to manual for now. fast releases are awesome, but getting prompted for 3.2 literally an hour after installing 3.1 was pretty annoying :sweat_smile: , appreciate you listening!
