Provide a clear description of the bug
I am on a trial account. I have used up my premium requests. I would like to continue to try cursor, but now requests do not run at all, not even in slow mode, I simply get the the alert below the chat request input, “Please upgrade to Pro to continue.” I can submit the request (using the up arrow icon), it flickers, then provides this same response without any results. I should note, I do not have any API keys attached to the profile/account.
Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)
I have tried changing the modes, models, etc and nothing gets it to run in slow mode. Every selection provides the same response. I have tried this with privacy mode on and privacy mode off as well. Same result.
Check the forum to ensure the issue hasn’t been reported already
I did see a few posts about certain “high risk of trial abuse” accounts being limited on requests, but they were still defaulting to slow mode.

Yes, without the requests working, I would just use VSCode.
