I’m currently facing an issue where I keep hitting the usage limit even though the Auto option is enabled.
Despite Auto mode being selected, the interface still shows a warning that I’ve reached my usage limit and prompts me to upgrade or manually increase my spending limit.
I’m sharing this to document the issue and to understand whether this is a known limitation, a configuration problem, or a bug. If anyone else has experienced this or knows how to resolve it, I’d appreciate the insight.
Update: I noticed that if I switch to a different model — for example, using Composer1 — everything works as expected. The issue only seems to occur with specific models, even when Auto mode is enabled.
Second, we’re updating our limits on “Auto” for individuals. At your next billing renewal after September 15, Auto will contribute to your included monthly usage at competitive token rates. From December 2023 to June 2025, Auto was priced at the same cost as other premium models. Since June 2025, Auto has been unlimited for individuals and priced at the same cost as other premium models for teams.
So it sounds like you’ve used up your included Auto usage, but still have some included usage left on other models!
