Hi! After update to cursor 0.46 (currently 0.46.4) and with UI setting that I use
“workbench.activityBar.orientation”: “vertical”
The git tab number of committed files icon is now way smaller than it was before. Also the whole activity bar has smaller font/size than before. Is it possible to customize it back to the previous size?

Hard to see with images a bit, but if to compare two editors side by side it is a noticeable difference
What’s the problem. I updated my cursor to the latest version yesterday and everything was cool. But this morning I woke up and my cursor simply disappeared from my computer, then I installed it again and the new update is no longer there. And in the check for updates tab it tells me I have the latest update… even though I’m sitting on the old one
I’m moving between my Mac and windows. I got 0.46 on Mac but Windows would not update beyond 0.45. Any update on when for syncing windows version, and typically how long does windows release lag behind Mac?
So far this hasn’t worked out for me. I continually get oom crashes and have not been able to use Cursor today. I’ve disabled all extensions but the crashes still happen. I reverted back to .45.15, which was still crashing on me but was still usable, but then it automatically updates to .46 even though I don’t want it to. Is there an auto update flag that I can turn off?
My project is with python on a windows 11 laptop, 32Gb memory.
Please fix the oom issue because it’s been very frustrating and I’m ready to move to another editor.
thanks robcascade - your reply likely save me a days work. The Cursor userbase is large enough to just release a nightly version and let some people install both to get feedback. Both 045 and 046 was rolled out prematurely IMO
I don’t have it, but it is available in the GitHub repo (I don’t know if it’s reliable) that @oslook shared in his post. If there was an official link shared by the Cursor team, I would share it.
Good bye Cursor, unfortunately, I have not been able to use you now because of the oom crashes.
You were a great tool for the short time I used you but you are now longer working for me. There has been no resolution or feedback on fixing the issue so I must move on to get my work done.
I’ll look you up in a week or 2 to see how you’re doing and may come back if you’re not crashing anymore.
looks like .cursorignore broke with this release. it’s ignoring files that shouldn’t be ignored… seems to be confused with the (!) (not) syntax in ignore.
