How can I download the latest version? I download and install it now, it is still 0.43.6
On the bottom left, when you work in the cursor, a small window appears āupdate cursorā. You need to click on it.
I just see the old version on the website, how can I get .44?

This update broke my cursor entirely. I canāt open it. I mean, it restarted to ātake effectsā and the icon is in my dock with an open indicator but nothing pops up at all.
Maybe you have this:
i have to reinstall cursor to get it to open every time now. i just uninstalled APC and behavior didnāt change.
also, my chat history for the last 3 weeks disappeared after re-installation. frustrating

I updated to 0.44 thinking it was going to solve the āgenerating foreverā bug but Ive had several instances today where the generations have stopped working-- sometimes I restart and it starts generating then. Its making cursor a miserable experience / unusable. I keep having to retry retry retry to get it to start and when it does it starts streaming immediately. I bought extra fast requests too/ still no joy.
anyone else having issues with Composer getting stalled out on āgeneratingā after updating to .44? i was having major problems with this in the previous version so was hoping it was going to be resolved with this update but itās still happening for me

same issue. previous version became almost unusable for me so was really hoping to see it resolved with this update but am getting the same thing today with the new versionā¦
The update bar appeared. I was already happy that it would get even better. But it rolled back to version 0.43.6 
I didnāt rejoice for long
Few issues in this build we want to iron out before getting to more users. Will be rolling out to more users shortly!

Changelog | Cursor - The AI Code Editor no longer in changelog - maybe they withdrew it to fix some bugs before giving it another release.

It would be good if the changelog actually said it had been withdrawn instead of customers left wonderingā¦

the only change Iāve noticed is that composer is completely broken now.
It keeps checkpointing (whatever that means). Then the diff fails to apply and the agent replies with:
I apologize for the continued failures. Let me try one final time with an even more precise approach:
you guys canāt be shipping updates that completely break functionality like this!
