What is 1.1.0 all about?

I see the download on those scanning sites, but cursor itself does not update. Any hint if I should donwload + install?

where is this setting?

in settings

There’s a new tab in settings, namely Tools & Integrations

There’s also an option to turn on privacy mode with storage, which is kind of private and kind of not, but for some users it will be an option to use the fancy features that require it.

And a search input in the settings, long overdue but glad to finally have it, especially with the growing number of options. It’s not clear how the results are chosen, I’m pretty sure this phrase should end up with no results at all.

I’ll also ask the devs and moderators - please don’t just mark such topics as solved just because you addressed them. If you want to mark them as “addressed”, then find a better way than just marking threads as solved when they’re clearly not solved. For example, “we won’t tell you what’s new” is not a solution.

No to-do list is showing for me (Windows 11); presumably, it’s macOS-only for the moment.

im also on windows 11

oh - where is the to do list option? I can’t see it anywhere in my settings (v1.1.1)

maybe they removed it for some reason in 1.1.1 cause i have 1.1.0

Devs hear me out we have great ai in our hands right ?

How about AUTOMATIC changelog posts based on the repository changes :open_mouth:

All I want to see in the changelog one day is “Reduced the excessive amount of context compression” so Cursor is useful again

I cant see in this thread history that anything was marked as solved.

The forum software for now allows “Solved” only  or to close posts.
Note that in other threads certain solutions work for certain users. Not for all. Thats why for that case and issue the thread is marked as solved. Anyone else having still bugs should file full bug reports so they can be evaluated for their cause.

The to-do feature is still in testing so therefore not in 1.1.2 (neither on mac or windows)

exactly.. last update with changelog was 1.0.1 (also delayed by few days), now im on 1.1.2 and still no changelog, really would like to see more frequent changelog updates..

Yeah as noted, Docu updates are lagging a bit, bumped Cursor Team about this

One detail on Changelog

  • As this is the public changelog its updated with releases for users.

Several feature requests mentioned EAP Changelog would be good, and I agreed

v1.1 is only currently released to all Pre-release users right now!

As updates and fixes may still be made, we don’t release changelog updates until a version is available and accessible to all users. Once it is ready for GA, a changelog entry will be posted!

Also, there’s no fun if we tell where everything new is, wheres the excitement and mystery in that :raising_hands:

I believe you can see it marked as solved now.

Yes  I think Dan explained it well.

As its not finalized yet there isn’t a better answer possible for now.
Yes its clear we all would like EAP changelog .

In fact lots of feedback has already made it into the app with fast improvements as I can see. Some day we may see an EAP Changelog too.
