Hey, to view the logs, open the Output panel and select Cursor MCP from the dropdown menu.

Hi, deanrie, I found some users’ cursor just don’t have the MCP Logs item to select in Ouput, but some does. Is there an switch to open the select option?

Hey, it’s quite strange. It should be there even if you don’t have any servers added. In the latest update, we also added the ability to select specific MCP servers, so you can choose the one you’re having issues with and check the logs.

My team encounters this: the MCP Logs item just doesn’t show up. And cursor seems can’t connect any mcp servers even the mcp.json config is correct. In the server side, didn’t see cursor’s connect request at all.
