Hey, this isn’t a bug. It’s due to regional restrictions.
Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini block API access from certain regions, so those models won’t show up in your Cursor settings. This is a limit set by the model providers, not by Cursor.
What you can do:
- Use Auto mode. It picks the best available model for your region.
- Use the models that are available. Composer, Grok, Kimi, and others should work fine.
- Add your own API key. Go to Cursor Settings > Models > API Keys and add a provider key. Note: the provider may still block access based on your region.
