Why do you keep pushing down Beta code to me

Describe the Bug

I do not consent to being a beta tester for Cursor. I downloaded the official windows 1.2 version and within days you pushed down version 1.3.3. This is not acceptable to me - it interrupts our business and I do not consent to beta testing.

Steps to Reproduce

Just install version 1.2 and work a few days - the cursor manage to push down their beta code even if you do not want it

Expected Behavior

Do not push down code I have not asked for

Operating System

Windows 10/11

hi @Jorgen_Christiansen and thank you for your bug report.

Yes we had an issue when rolling out the pre-release for users who signed up for beta version and it affected some default channel users.

I apologize for this issue, it was not intentional and we have stopped it as soon as we became aware of this.

You can download current stable version from Downloads | Cursor - The AI Code Editor and install it over your current version.

Please also go to Cursor Settings > Beta > Update Access and make sure it is set to “Default”.
