Hi Cursor team,
I wanted to report what may be a UX issue related to subscription upgrades.
When navigating to the Spending section, clicking the “Upgrade to Yearly” option immediately processed billing without showing a confirmation dialog or clearly displaying the final price before charging.
For large financial actions like yearly subscriptions, users typically expect:
- a confirmation modal
- explicit price display
- a final approval step before billing
Because this action happens instantly, it seems very easy for users to trigger accidentally.
I’m sharing this as product feedback since confirmation safeguards are usually standard for high-value subscription changes.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior, and is this the intended flow?
